Dear readers,

friends old and new,

the funded TISSNTE project has now come to an end.  The project team had a very successful and rewarding meeting in Vienna in late September, where we attended and presented at the annual ECER Conference as well as holding our dissemination and evaluation final meeting.

A newly vamped Virtual Library for the project is being constructed and will go public later in the year.  On it you will find materials and activities to support the growing number of colleagues who have the responsible task of supporting novice teachers and schools. Also facilities for asking about and sharing practices and concerns in the whole field of mentoring.

We look forward to greeting you 'on-line'.

The project team and a variety of teachers who have worked with us, or become interested in the benefits and rewards of being a mentor and being mentored over the three year project, are working on 'what comes next'!

We hope you will 'watch this pace' and keep informed of and add your suggestions to the many ideas for development.

Our grateful thanks to all who have contributed to the great adventure in so many ways and to Comenius for providing the space to make the whole thing possible!
